AUG 2017 — PRESENT
San Francisco, CA
My journeys have landed me on sunny Californian shores. In 2017, I accepted a graduate degree opportunity at California College of the Arts. A year later, I am armed with a Masters in Interaction design, new friends and more stories to tell. I love the city so far. The people are weird (in a great way), the food is amazing and there are so many places to go camping nearby. Also shoutout to Karl! Gotta love a city with an ever-present organic fog-being.

DEC 2016 — JUN 2017
In July 2016, my partner was moving to Nairobi, Kenya for work and I decided to follow her there. It was a scary and exciting decision. In 5 months, I packed my bags, with a heavy heart said goodbye to my dear colleagues and friends and set off on a journey which turned out to be extremely fruitful. Here, I consulted for Lendable a fin-tech organisation creating the first debt platform designed specifically for African Alternative Lenders.
I fell in love with the energy of Nairobi. The access to nature and wildlife was on a scale that I had never experienced before. They even have an elephant orphanage where you can adopt a baby elephant and pay for their care. It’s the cutest thing, when they drink milk from giant gallon jars!

MAY 2010 — NOV 2016
My formative 20’s was in Bangalore. I formally studied graphic design at Wigan & Leigh College and graduated class of 2006, with an internship in hand.
In May 2010, I landed an opportunity to work for Lazaro Advertising, a design organisation that was thinking way ahead of its time. Here, I helped build the company from its simple beginnings into a force to contend with. My love for brand development led me to collaborate with many startups and give them a personality and platform to talk to their customers.
I still miss the late night musings with my friends, when we would drunkenly discuss the state of the nation’s politics and play RISK like we were at war with each other for real. Whenever I miss home, this is the city I think of.
